Enrollment at Forge

Forge International School is part of the Sage International Network of Schools, a public charter school, and is mandated by Idaho Code Statute 33-5206, to hold an annual enrollment lottery when demand for enrollment exceeds the number of available spaces.

The Enrollment Lottery Application for the 2020-2021 school year is closed.

Students who are currently attending Forge International do not have to fill out an application.

When is the Lottery.  The Enrollment Lottery will take place at Forge International on February 28 at 10 am. The lottery is open to the public.

Lottery ProcessThe Idaho Legislature established the lottery process for charter school admission through Idaho Code Statute 33-5206. As a brief overview, all applicants are placed into grade-level-specific 'Lottery Priority Groups' as follows and are drawn in order based on these groupings:

  • First Priority: Students returning to Forge International
  • Second Priority: Board approved Founders
  • Third Priority: Siblings of students already attending Forge International
  • Fourth Priority: Students that are transferring from Sage International School
  • Fourth Priority: Applicants that reside within Forge International's primary area of attendance
  • Fifth Priority: Applicants that reside outside Forge International's primary area of attendance

When are Lottery Results Posted.  The results will be posted on Forge International School's website by March 4.

Offers for Enrollment.  All students that secure placement during the lottery will receive an email from Forge International providing an 'Offer for Enrollment’. Offers of enrollment must be accepted within 48 hrs. If a response is not received within 48 hours, the student’s name will be moved to the bottom of the enrollment or waiting list. Students that do not secure placement during the lottery will be placed on a waiting list and, if space becomes available, will be contacted at that time.

Waiting List. Once the Enrollment Lottery Application closes, we will post the Wait List Application the next day - February 25 - on our website. Waiting lists do not carry from year-to-year and are replaced yearly from the results of the annual enrollment lottery.

Non-Discrimination:  Forge International School does not discriminate on the basis on race, color, religion, and national or ethnic origin in its educational and admissions policies and affords to all students the rights, privileges, programs and activities made available at the school.
